Walls, Cabinets and Colors In Between
Last August, my mom went preparing the house and did some construction through a local carpenter. My sister was getting married then and everyone in the family are coming. I discussed with her the things to be done and one was the room partition for my room and the other room beside it.
The rooms were separated only by a thin plywood since it was constructed about nine years ago. I guess it was about time to make a good and stable partition between the two rooms.
So, the room partition was constructed (thanks for the quick payday loans my dad had). As a bonus, my mum rewarded herself with a cabinet on top the kitchen for her to keep the kitchen stuff when not used.
Why am I talking about this? I went thinking about what colors to paint the constructed cabinets. House color is a big issue for me. I know it affects the psychology of the people living in it. Blue gives you a relax feel while red makes the atmosphere warm and lively.
I really hope I could save enough money to help with the painting expenses. For now, it is bare- the brown wood color plywood naturally has.
There are a number of good wall painters around our town but I would still want to be part of it. I like thinking of wall color combinations and how I want to set the mood of every room using it.
I keep my fingers crossed.
