Selling Your Painting
I remember when I was little, my mom used to bring me with her during her everyday walk. We literally walk a lot around the city. It was then that I first saw people selling their paintings. Usually near huge supermarkets within the city, painters exhibit their works of art in streets – beautiful images in dirty, people-saturated sidewalks. Well, they got to make a living and they would do their best to survive city life.
Today, people have more way than a thousand ways to sell their works of art. Some sell it through auctions. Others use shopping cart software to easily manage their business, from inventory, inquiries to sales.
The web is saturated already with images. For painters who love to share their talents, they could exhibit it also in many different ways like flash movies and dynamic websites.
Though using different strategies, the selling of paintings is universal and gives a practical side of painting. You can actually make a living out of the thing you really love. For this instance, painting.
